Emmerdale newcomer Kev’s secret son ‘revealed’ — and he’s already living in the village
Emmerdale fans are confident ex-convict Kev has a secret connection to one of the villagers.
Newcomer Kev (Chris Coghill) moved to the village on Monday (October 21) following a long-term prison sentence for bank robbery. While locked up, Kev married Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), and, given his newfound freedom, he hopes the pair will now live in wedded bliss.
Kev is staying with Claudette (Flo Wilson) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), as part of the prison outreach programme. But Robert is less than pleased with his husband’s presence as he has recently rekindled with his ex, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Robert is keeping his marriage to Kev a secret, but hawk-eyed Aaron is starting to question who exactly Kev is after they come face to face in the village.

Robert has lied to Aaron, telling him that Kev is just a friend and his ex-cellmate.
To keep Aaron and Kev apart, Robert has hinted to Kev that he is feeling awkward around Aaron after his half-brother, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), tried to kill him. He also confirmed that Aaron and John are married.
But Robert was left even more relieved when Kev confirmed his wishes to keep his sexuality private for the time being, meaning their relationship will be kept out of sight from eagle-eyed villagers.
“I’m not quiet ready to be out and proud”, Kev told Robert before demanding they keep their relationship on “the downlow”.

However, Emmerdale fans are predicting that Kev has another connection to the Dales, and he is the biological father of Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).
Dylan was introduced earlier this year after meeting April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) on the streets, following her escape from home.
It was revealed that the teenager is estranged from his family before moving to the village. He is also selling drugs for Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). Will Kev be the person to save young Dylan from Ray’s evil clutches?
Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer suggested: “Is Dylan Kev’s son? They have very similar ears.

Taking to Reddit, one Emmerdale fan explained: “I saw a tweet suggesting Dylan could be Kev’s son (or relation of some sort) based on their similar ears. I just feel like it could actually make me care about Dylan (who I don’t care for currently) and give Kev something to stick around for after Aaron/Robert’s ‘affair’ comes out.”
Another added: “It could be interesting, but the word is that Chris has already finished filming for Kev.”
“I don’t see Kev sticking around for long I can’t remember how long he’s got left but can’t be long if they have let him out”, suggested another.
