Emmerdale Kev’s real secret son ‘unveiled’ as fellow villager and it’s not Lewis
Emmerdale fans ‘know’ the real identity of Kev Townsend’s son and it’s not Lewis Barton.
Newcomer Kev (Chris Coghill) made his debut on the ITV soap this year, when he moved to the Dales following a long-term prison sentence for bank robbery.
It eventually came out that while locked up, Kev married Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). At the time, Robert had no idea that Kev would ever be released, so he struck up a romance with him to survive behind bars.
However, with Kev’s newfound freedom, he hoped that he and Robert would live in wedded bliss in the village, much to Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) heartbreak.
Last month though, Robert ended up cheating on Kev with Aaron, the day he was supposed to renew his vows with Kev. Robert and Kev went ahead and renewed their vows but unbeknownst to Kev, Robert then started an affair with Aaron.
However, this week it was revealed that Kev has an estranged son. The former criminal revealed that he had a “crazy one-nighter” with a woman from Leeds which resulted in his son being born.
And while plenty of fans think his son is Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) other fans are convinced he is a “red herring”.
In Friday’s episode (November 14) amid Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) father Bear (Joshua Richards) being missing, Dylan (Fred Kettle) attempted to get Paddy to open up about his feelings.
The conversation then turned to the topic of Dylan’s own father. Paddy asked him: “Have you ever thought about looking up your dad?” Dylan replied: “No chance. Waste of space.”
Now fans reckon Kev’s on is actually Dylan. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “I think it’s a red herring…it’s making us all think it’s Lewis.
“I think maybe Lewis will pursue it, do a DNA, come back negative…and it’s actually Dylan…and he will rescue everyone from Celia’s evil clutches!!!”
Someone else agreed: “I was saying this Kev saves the day and everyone will like him then!“ A third penned: “That’s what I think, too obvious now that it will be Lewis, soapland like to give us a twist.”
