Enmerdale’s Isabel Hodgins has issued a major pregnancy update as she revealed her growing baby bump at the gym.
The actress shot to fame when she joined the ITV programme back in 2006 as Victoria Sugden. Since then, the character has been involved in several big soap moments.
Away from the Dales though, in August, Isabel announced that she was expecting her first baby with new husband Adam Whitehead just months after the happy couple tied the knot.
Isabel and Adam got married in April at a fairy-tale wedding at Castlefield Rooms in Manchester city centre. And going from strength to strength, Isabel confirmed her baby news in August.

On Instagram, the soap star shared a photo of her and Adam holding the scan and penned: “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes… Baby Whitehead.”
Since then, Isabel has been keeping fans updated on her pregnancy journey. Recently, she shared a video of her working out at a gym. The mum-to-be looked amazing as she got to work while showing off her growing baby bump.
She captioned the post: “Gym with bump. Eating for two. Training for two.”
However, some of her followers shared their concerns, with one person writing: “Be careful.” Another added: “Careful, you’ll do yourself a mischief the way you’re lifting that last lot of weights.” A third mused: “Love this video too just be careful darling especially with the bump.”
Nonetheless other fans were quick to applaud Isabel and rally round. One person gushed: “Wow, you are doing amazing & look absolutely glowing.” Someone else commented: “Yes Isabel who says pregnant mamas can’t keep fit, you’re doing so well keep at it.”
Echoing their thoughts, a third proclaimed: “You’re glowing, pregnancy really suits you.” A fourth also defended Isabel and penned: “See you can do anything when pregnant.”

Her Emmerdale co-stars also supported Isabel. Mackenzie Boyd actor Lawrence Robb said: “This really made me smile.” While Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, penned: “Very, very good.”
Isabel’s pregnancy update comes after the actress hinted at taking a temporary break from Emmerdale to focus on motherhood.
Discussing this decision, the ITV actress told The Mirror in August: “I will miss it. I love the people there, but I’ve worked there for 19 years, so I feel like I’ve done what I’ve wanted to do and been selfish with my career.
Isabel continued: “Now, it’s time to devote my life to being a mum, that feels right to me. But there’s still FaceTime, so they won’t forget me!”
