Emmerdale‘s Ross Barton continues to play mind games with Charity Dingle next week, as he gets closer to Mackenzie Boyd – and plants the seed that he’s going to reveal their saucy secret. After Ross and Charity revisited old ground and slept together, Ross has been doing everything in his power to cause Charity grief.

Next week is no different, as Ross continues to taunt his ex by hanging around with her husband Mack, who believes they’re becoming genuine friends.

“Mack is just a pawn in Ross’s manipulation of Charity,” our Emmerdale insider explains. “Although Ross doesn’t know that Charity’s unborn baby is his, he can still lord the fact that he and Charity slept together over her – and what better way to panic her than to cosy up to Mack?

“With all the secrets that Charity is struggling to keep a lid on, it’s no wonder that this is getting under her skin…”

As Ross continues to hang out with his former enemy, Charity is incensed that he’s worming his way into her family life. Later, tipsy Mack sets alarm bells off in his wife’s head when he insists that he and Ross tell each other everything and have no secrets.

“Poor old Mack naively thinks that his new best pal Ross is always honest with him,” our spy continues. “Little does he know, Ross was having it off with his wife a few months ago.

“Getting shot with a crossbow probably hurt less than finding out this secret will – but it’s looking as though it’s only a matter of time before he does.”

With the unlikely bromance progressing almost as quickly as Charity’s pregnancy, it’s surely only a matter of time before she attempts to drive a wedge between her husband and her baby daddy.

As they spend more time together, will Ross start to feel guilty and confess his secret to Mack? Or will the building pressure cause Charity to beat Ross to it and spill her secrets herself?
