Emmerdale fans livid as they ‘work out’ what Cain really did in France in cheating twist
Emmerdale fans have predicted a shock cheating twist involving Cain Dingle.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) has been a staple on the soap for 25 years – making his debut in 2000. As the troublemaking village lothario, he has become a firm favourite with fans.
He also played a part in several big storylines too. From his romance with cousin Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) to his affair and relationship with Moira (Natalie J. Robb), his time in the Dales has not been short of drama.
Especially at the moment, as recently, Cain found out that his son Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) was murdered by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). As fans will recall, John killed Nate last year and dumped his body into a lake.
Nate’s body was eventually found and John managed to frame an innocent person. However, the truth came crashing down for John after his crimes were exposed.
With everyone out to get him, John blackmailed Caleb Miligan (William Ash) to help him get away and John managed to flee the country to France. Hell-bent on making him pay, Cain then left the village to try and track him down.
And this week, Cain was back in the village after getting himself arrested. Wife Moira was fuming at Cain, who seemed committed to self-destruction behaviour, even lashing out at his loved ones including son Kyle (Huey Quinn).
Cain eventually opened up to Moira that he didn’t manage to find John in France, despite being able to track down some of his old army friends. Feeling like a failure, Cain resorted to drinking which got him in trouble with the police.
In Thursday’s episode (October 16) though, Cain managed to patch things up with his family, after some tough love from pal Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
